Why should I attend an MHC NYC event?
If you want to connect with Mount Holyoke alums in the New York City area this is the place to do it! We offer space to connect fellow alums, build community, and most of all- have fun!
Where are MHC NYC events held?
Some are virtual, while most are held in person across the city.
What kind of events do you host?
We go to museums, volunteer, host dinners in various neighborhoods, attend sporting events, attend performances-– we’ve done it all! We also host the President of the College and other esteemed faculty and staff as well. If you have an idea for an event or want to partner with us please email us as we would love to partner with you.
Where can I find out more information about the events coming up?
For the most up to date info, our Instagram or Facebook are always up to date.
We also send a newsletter out monthly. If you didn’t receive our latest newsletter, you can sign up *below* for the next one and you can email the Club to have the latest one be sent to you. Be sure to join our email list so you can receive the next ones.
Do I need to be an MHC alum who lives in NYC to attend an event?
All Mount Holyoke Alums or former MHC students are welcome. We also welcome alums from other Seven Sisters and other historical women's colleges as well.
Do I need to be a member to attend an MHC NYC event?
You do not need to be a member of our Club, but we would love it if you were! Membership is not a requirement, but members often get discounted tickets to paid events.
Why should I become a member of the Club?
If you would like to support our work we would love to have you as a member. Dues support our Club’s newsletter platform, website, etc but most importantly, dues and our Vespers event’s profits support our annual donation to the Annual Scholar Fund.
Strengthen the Mount Holyoke community by cultivating an active association of New York metropolitan area alums who are connected to, informed of, and actively involved in, the life and work of the College and the Alum Association.
Foster meaningful relationships among all alums through both social and professional activities.
Give back to Mount Holyoke College. More than $80,000 has been donated to MHC students from NYC over the past 10 years.
How do I become a member of MHC-NYC? How much is it?

Vespers are held in-person every other year, with the next New York Vespers in Dec 2026. We do not have a virtual option for our Vespers show at this time. Please join our mailing list or follow us on social media to learn when tickets will be released for sale in the fall.
Do you have hotel discounts in NYC?
Unfortunately we do not have access to other college alum clubs or other hotel discounts in NYC.
Do we have any reciprocal relationships with other Clubs?
As an MHC alum, you’re eligible for a discounted hotel with the University Women’s Club in London. In order to “qualify,”, you will need to email Luisa at LTavares@mtholyoke.edu with your name, graduation year, and requested hotel nights for your trip to London.
